Sunday Morning
There is something sacred about pausing on a Sunday morning to lift your eyes above everything that tried to weigh you down this week. When the Psalmist said, “to behold the beauty of the Lord and inquire in His temple,” he was reminding us that real strength comes from stillness in God’s presence.
No matter what you carried into this day , unanswered questions, private worries, the fatigue of a long week , God is inviting you to rest in Him. Your story is not finished. Your struggles are not the final chapter. God completes what He begins. And if He started a good work in you, He will see it through with power and with grace.
There is peace waiting for you when you slow down long enough to breathe in God’s goodness and breathe out your fear. There is clarity waiting when you quiet your mind long enough to hear His voice above the noise. There is strength waiting when you lean on the one who never grows weary.
Hear the Word of the Lord from Psalm 121:
“My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.”
God is not distant. He is not passive. He is not caught off guard by what troubles you.
He watches. He guards. He keeps. He covers.
When the world around you feels unstable, God remains the solid place beneath your feet. When danger rises on every side, His angels stand guard around your life. When fear whispers that you are alone, heaven answers with, “I am with you always.”
Lift your head and steady your heart.
You are held.
You are covered.
You are kept.
May the beauty of the Lord surround you today, and may His presence give you the peace you have been praying for.
