Is it a Good πͺ or a GOD πͺ?
Life will present you with many doors,πͺ doors that look promising, doors that appear beneficial, doors that make sense on paper. But a door can be good and still not be God.
Maturity in your walk with Christ comes when you learn to distinguish between what simply looks right and what is truly aligned with Godβs intention for yourlife.
Every open door is not an assignment.
Every invitation is not an appointment.
Every opportunity does not carry Godβs endorsement.
This is where discernment becomes your greatest gift. There are moments when the wrong door will offer comfort, stability, or quick relief. But God is calling you to something deeper, a life shaped not by convenience, but by conviction.
βA man's heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps.β β Proverbs 16:9 (KJV)
When God orders your steps, He does not simply guide you to open places; He guides you to ordained places. These are places where:
Your gifts are activated.
Your peace is protected.
Your growth is intentional.
His presence goes before you.
If you are facing a major choice, I urge you to heed these warnings:
If the opportunity disturbs your spirit, pay attention. If the path compromises your peace, slow down. If the timing feels rushed, seek clarity.
Sometimes God blocks a good door because He is preparing you for a God door. Trust the Holy Spirit to steady your heart today. God is not withholding anything from you; He is guiding you toward what has been shaped for your life, not simply what is available, but what is appointed.
God will not let you settle for what is good when His plan for you is truly greater.
