Growing up in the South
Being southern raised we had to attend church no matter what. My grandma was one of the mothers that was on the mother’s bench so you already know ain’t no missing church lol. We had to attend Sunday school, morning service, afternoon service, church unions, prayer meetings you name it we were there. I remember one day my sister, and I was sitting on my grandma’s living room floor playing cards it was tunk to be exact my grandma told us to put them cards up the deacon comin we did just that. Eating collard greens, and cornbread with our fingers my grandma taught me that 😊, and butter milk with cornbread with a lil sugar in it omg. We were raised with respect, morals, and most of all our Grandma’s, and parents introduced us to God str8 out the womb. I’m grateful to be southern raised, and from the country. Everybody knows everyone, and half of their business too lol, but hey you gotta take the good with the bad sometimes.
